The Buffalo Sabres' annual development camp will return to LECOM Harborcenter from July 13 to 16.
The camp will feature current Sabres prospects, including players selected during the 2022 NHL Draft. Attendees will take part in both on-ice and off-ice workouts. All on-ice sessions will be held at LECOM Harborcenter, and are free and open to the public.

“It's my first development camp,” stated JJ Peterka when asked how this week has been going for the AHL’s top scoring rookie in 2021-22. “So, I'm really happy to be here and it's nice meeting all the guys here and we're just having fun.”
“It's pretty exciting,” said Rochester Americans assistant coach Michael Peca when asked how the first few days of Development Camp has been. “I mean, the talent that’s out there is remarkable. Even the fresh crop from this most recent draft, but it's the vibe off the ice that's just as impressive.”
“It’s very good for me, I think, because it’s going to be a long time until the next time I come over. So, it's nice to see the city and meet the boys and stuff,” Isak Rosen said when asked how beneficial it will be to have the experience under his belt.
“Our job is to initially build relationships with our players,” stated Sabres director of player development and former Amerks assistant coach Adam Mair. “It's so fun to get all these guys together."
Like years past, the roster for the annual camp features a balanced mix of young players, most of whom have been drafted by Buffalo in recent years. Some have already turned pro, others are getting ready to make the jump to the professional ranks and a few will return to their respective college or junior teams in the fall. But the objective for all of them is the same: make an impression on the coaches and front office staff while improving their game.
“You're trying to give them things both on the ice and off so they can take those things back to their teams they're with so they can continue to develop and progress throughout the season.”
