Signed a one-year American Hockey League contract with the Rochester Americans on August 6, 2021.  

Combined for 10 points (5+5) in 19 games between the Bridgeport Islanders and Binghamton Devils (AHL) ... He finished the season with Binghamton, adding five goals and three assists in 12 games ... Had a season-high four-point night on two goals and two assists on 5/01 at Lehigh Valley ... Began the season with Islanders before being acquired by the New Jersey Devils (NHL) along with a 2021 first-round pick, a 2022 conditional fourth-round pick and AJ Greer in exchange for Kyle Palmieri and Travis Zajac on 4/08 ... Prior to the trade, he posted two assists, both on 2/25 against Providence, in seven games with Binghamton

2018-19: Completed a four-year collegiate career at Ohio State University (Big-10), where he amassed 164 points (69+95) in 150 games ... At the time of his graduation, he was one of 21 NCAA players to post 150 or more points and was 13th all-time in Buckeye scoring ... First all-time in career Big-10 goals (48) and second in career assists (60) ... He was the first OSU player since 1990 to record 160 or more points... Named team MVP while also earning First Team All-Big Ten accolades for the second time ...
