Vaccine Policy

You must be fully vaccinated. People are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

In accordance with the New York State Mandate, The Rochester Americans and Blue Cross Arena are updating its vaccination policy. Beginning immediately, all guests 5-11 will be required to present proof of at least the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine for entry into all events, concerts, Amerks and Knighthawks games.

Vaccine Verification

Show one of the following at entry:

• Physical Vaccination Card

• New York State Excelsior Pass

• Government approved mobile app showing vaccination verification

• Photos of vaccine cards will NOT be accepted

• Photo ID matching your proof of vaccination will be required

Covid-19 Testing

  • Covid-19 Negative Test Results will NOT be accepted for entry into Blue Cross Arena

Vaccine Requirement

  • No exceptions will be made to the vaccine requirement

Mask Policy

Due to vaccination requirement, the Monroe County mask mandate begining December 10 does NOT apply to Blue Cross Arena. Masks are optional for patrons over 5 years old but strongly encouraged.

Ticket Refunds

  • Refund policy: All Season Ticket Members will receive an email that outlines specific guidelines to request a refund for your tickets. There will be no refunds for single game purchasers. Single game purchasers that are unable to meet the above requirements can transfer, resell, or donate their tickets.
  • Deadline to request refunds: The deadline to request a refund or pause your 2021-22 Season Ticket Membership is Wednesday, September 29th, 5:00 PM ET

Fans must not come to Blue Cross Arena if they have COVID-19, any symptoms of COVID-19, or have been exposed to COVID-19. It is important that we keep our team and our fans safe and healthy. If you are feeling sick, stay home.


Where is proof of vaccination required?

Prior to entering Blue Cross Arena, guests will be asked to present proof of vaccination to arena staff. Proof of vaccination will be checked prior to scanning your ticket. There are no exceptions.

Do I need to test if I am not vaccinated?

All guests over 12 must be fully vaccinated. Guest who are ages 5-11 will be required to present proof of at least the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

Proof of Negative Test Results will not be accepted as an alternative.

What is the process for entering Blue Cross Arena?

Guests will be required to have their vaccination verified before they present their tickets for entry into Blue Cross Arena.

What happens if I do not have a mobile phone?

Please bring your official CDC-issued vaccination card with your name and date of dose(s) including the date the last dose was administered printed on the card.

What happens if I lose my vaccination card?

Unless guests can show their CDC-issued vaccination card or digital proof of vaccination in the Excelsior or CLEAR or other government issued digital vaccine records, they will not be permitted to enter Blue Cross Arena. No photos of vaccination cards will be accepted. If you lost your vaccination card, contact your vaccination provider to access your vaccination record.

Can I show a photo of my vaccination card to gain entry?

No. Photos of vaccination cards will not be accepted. Proof of vaccination can be provided in the following ways:

New York State Excelsior Pass
CLEAR Digital Vaccine Card
- Government issued digital proof of vaccination


I am coming from out of state, how can I prove my vaccination status?

You will need to show your physical card, CLEAR Digital Vaccine Passport, or your respective state government's digital vaccine proof.

What happens if I do not want to get vaccinated?

Refund information will vary based on the individual Blue Cross Arena event. You will receive an email that outlines specific guidelines to request a refund for your tickets.

Assumption of Risk

You must follow all stadium policies, including health and safety policies, and posted instructions while in the stadium and on stadium grounds. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and those with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. No precautions can completely eliminate the risk of exposure to COVID-19. By entering the arena and arena grounds, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure of COVID-19.
