The Buffalo Sabres and Rochester Americans made a series of roster moves Friday which saw the reassignment of defenseman Ryan Johnson and veteran forward Tyson Jost to the Amerks.

Johnson, 22, has played 20 games for the Sabres since being recalled from Rochester on Nov. 4.

He has logged two assists, a plus-3 rating, and an average of 13:52 of ice time per game.

The defenseman has four assists (0+4) in nine games with the Amerks this season.

Jost, who officially cleared waivers at 2 p.m., will report to Rochester after recording four points (2+2) in 29 games with Buffalo. The 25-year-old has amassed 138 points (56+82) over 442 career NHL games with Buffalo, Minnesota and Colorado since being drafted in the first round (10th overall) by the Avalanche in the 2016 NHL Draft.

He’s also recorded seven points, including five goals, in 13 games at the American Hockey League level with the San Antonio Rampage and Colorado Eagles.

In a pair of corresponding moves, the Sabres have also reassigned rookie forward Olivier Nadeau from the Rochester Americans to the Jacksonville Icemen (ECHL). Additionally, the Amerks returned defenseman Chris Jandric to Jacksonville as well.
