AMERKS ANNOUNCE 2025-26 YEAR-END AWARD WINNERS

The Rochester Americans unveiled the year-end award winners for the 2025-26 season ahead of Friday's regular-season home finale against the Cleveland Monsters, honoring the top individual performances and contributions by the Amerks players.

 

Game-Winning Goals Award (determined by stats) – Trevor Kuntar and Konsta Helenius

Presented to the player with the most game-winning goals during the season.

 

Fairand/O'Neil Sportsmanship Award (voted on by off-ice officials) – Riley Fiddler-Schultz

Presented annually to the player who all season long demonstrates sportsmanship and dedication to the organization.

 

Rob Zabelny Unsung Hero Award (voted on by members of the Rochester media) – Jagger Joshua

Presented annually to the player who exhibits courage, enthusiasm and love for the game of hockey.

 

Rookie of the Year Award (voted on by Amerks Booster Club) – Olivier Nadeau

In recognition of the first-year player(s) deemed to have had the most impact on the team's success.

 

McCulloch Trophy and AHL Man of the Year Award (voted on by organization) – Riley Fiddler-Schultz

Presented annually to the Amerks player who is deemed to have contributed the most humanitarian service to the Rochester community during the course of the season.

 

Most Improved Player (voted on by Amerks players) – Olivier Nadeau

Awarded to the player who made the most progress from the beginning of the season.

 

Scoring Champion (determined by stats) – Konsta Helenius

Presented to the team's leading scorer at season's end.

 

Most Popular Player (voted on Amerks Booster Club) – Jagger Joshua

Presented to the team's fan-favorite.

 

Most Valuable Player (voted on by Amerks players) – Zac Jones

The player whose performance constantly exceeded excellence and was the most impactful to the organization.
