JOIN THE AMERKS FOR A PREGAME BLOCK PARTY AHEAD OF GAME 2 AGAINST LAVAL FRIDAY AT BLUE CROSS ARENA

Featuring live music, food, and special outdoor Happy Hour before the Amerks host the Rocket in Game 2 of North Division Finals, presented by Pepsi

The Rochester Americans are hosting a Pregame ROC the Block Party outside of Blue Cross Arena on Friday, May 16 ahead of their playoff matchup against the Laval Rocket.

 

The event will be held on Broad St. from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting, featuring live music, food, and family-friendly entertainment before the Amerks host the Rocket in Game 2 of North Division Finals, presented by Pepsi, at 7:05 p.m. Fans 21 and older can take advantage of $3 12-ounce cans of Genesee and Genesee Light as part of a special outdoor Happy Hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

 

To accommodate the event, a portion of Broad St. will be closed and inaccessible from Exchange Blvd. and South Ave. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to allow enough time to navigate through the congested streets surrounding Blue Cross Arena while parking is also expected to fill up fast.

 

The best-of-five North Division Finals, presented by Pepsi, between Rochester and Laval gets underway with Game 1 on Wednesday, May 14 at Blue Cross Arena. The first 5,000 fans in attendance for Game 1 will receive an Amerks rally towel, courtesy of Pepsi. The entire third-round series will be carried live on The Sports Leader 95.7 FM/950 AM The Fan Rochester as well as AHLTV on FloHockey.

 

Mike Danger and Gene Battaglia, co-hosts of The Sports Bar, will be broadcasting live from Blue Cross Arena Friday afternoon starting at 3 p.m. and leading up to puck-drop as part of an extended pregame show featuring exclusive Amerks content, interviews and more.
