Oct 30, 2025The Rochester Americans, in conjunction with conjunction with 95.7 FM and AM 950 The Fan (WROC-FM/AM), an Audacy station in Rochester, announced today the continuation of a multi-year broadcast partnership, keeping The Fan as the exclusive flagship radio station for all 72 regular-season Amerks games, for the team’s 70th-anniversary season.

All 72 regular-season Amerks games will continue to be simulcast on 95.7 FM and AM 950 radio dials, featuring the play-by-call call of Hall of Fame broadcaster Don Stevens, who’s currently in his remarkable 40th and final season as the Voice of the Amerks. Andrew Mossbrooks will again join Stevens on the broadcasts, serving as color analyst for all home games while also handling play-by-play duties for select road games this season. Tim Schneider will contribute to the broadcasts with pregame and postgame coverage, in addition to providing analysis during intermissions.
Amerks players, coaches and management personnel will continue to make regularly scheduled interview appearances on The Fan Rochester throughout the season, highlighted by a weekly segment with Amerks head coach Mike Leone every Tuesday afternoon on The Sports Bar with co-hosts Mike Danger and Gene Battaglia. The Sports Bar is the region’s leading daily sports talk radio show, delivering fans real sports insight and real sports conversation from two of Rochester’s most outspoken sports talk voices. Additional programming is also available through the Audacy mobile app.
95.7 FM and AM 950 The Fan is the only sports station in the market broadcasting on FM, airing local and national sports talk 24/7. It is also home for some of the biggest sporting events, as well as local, regional and national programming, including the Buffalo Bills and One Bills Live, Buffalo Sabres and St. John Fisher University sports.
