Buffalo Sabres’ seventh-round selection (208th overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Signed a three-year, entry-level NHL contract with Buffalo on October 6, 2011.

: Split his first professional season between the Rochester Americans (AHL) and Gwinnett Gladiators (ECHL)… Collected two assists and 18 PIM in 26 games with the Amerks… Notched one goal and four assists for five points in 20 ECHL appearances with Gwinnett… Scored his first pro goal at South Carolina on 11/20… Made his ECHL debut for the Gladiators against South Carolina on 11/18… Recorded his first professional point with an assist vs. Syracuse on 10/18… Made his pro/AHL debut at Hamilton on 10/08
