The Rochester Americans will host their first home game of the 2013 Calder Cup Playoffs at 7:05 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1 at The Blue Cross Arena when the Amerks and Toronto Marlies face off in Game 3 of their best-of-five series. The Court-Exchange Parking Lot adjacent to The Blue Cross Arena will be closed to the general public on Wednesday and Thursday as a result of the nearby filming of scenes from the upcoming major motion picture, The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

For fans who had planned on parking in the Court-Exchange lot for this week’s Amerks playoff games, alternative parking options include the Civic Center Garage (located at 55 Fitzhugh Street; entrances at the corner of W. Broad and Fitzhugh or on Exchange Blvd. near the Public Safety Building), the Court Street Garage (194 Court Street), and the South Avenue Garage (39 Stone Street).

More information on parking garages and lots in the City of Rochester is available on the City of Rochester website.  Additional information on road closures associated with the filming of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is available by clicking here. Game 4 of the Amerks-Marlies series, if necessary, is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. on Thursday, May 2 at The Blue Cross Arena.

Amerks Calder Cup Playoff tickets for the first round start at $17 and are available at www.amerks.com, by calling 1-855-GO-AMERKS or at The Blue Cross Arena Box Office.
