The Rochester Americans announced today the team will host a Cross-Ice Jamboree Hockey Tournament at The Blue Cross Arena on Sunday, March 24. The tournament, which is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m., is open to Mite-aged youth hockey players (age 8 and under).

Teams that enter the cross-ice tournament will consist of four skaters and one goaltender, and will be guaranteed a minimum of three games. Registration for the tournament is $210 per team and will also include 14 tickets per team to the Amerks home game versus the Toronto Marlies on Friday, March 29 at The Blue Cross Arena.

All games will be 30 minutes in duration with no off-sides, icing or timeouts. All penalties will result in a penalty shot for the player that draws the penalty.
