The Rochester Americans and Mayor Thomas S. Richards announced today that the free, annual Wendy’s Skate will take place on Wednesday, March 6 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the City of Rochester’s Manhattan Square Park Downtown. Amerks players will be on hand to meet and skate with fans.

Free passes are available at any participating Monroe County Wendy’s location. Passes will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last. One pass admits one person and all patrons must have their passes present upon arrival in order to skate. Skates are also required for all participants. Skate rental fee applies as a limited amount of skates are available and is $3.00.

In the event of inclement weather conditions, the event will be moved to the indoor rink at the Genesee Valley Sports Complex Ice Arena, located at 131 Elmwood Ave.
