The Rochester Americans announced today that the team is offering a special ticket package to followers of the Amerks’ social media platforms. 

For just $20, Amerks fans who follow the team on Facebook or Twitter can purchase one ticket to an Amerks game and a limited-edition royal-blue heather “Amerks Follower” T-shirt (photos attached), and will also be automatically entered into a drawing where the winner will receive two suite tickets to Rochester’s game versus the Toronto Marlies on Friday, April 19.

The Social Media ticket packs, which offer fans a savings of up to $16, will be available for select Friday Amerks home games throughout the 2012-13 season, starting with the Home Opener on Friday, Oct. 12 versus the Syracuse Crunch.  Other games include Nov. 9, Nov. 23, Dec. 28, Jan. 18, Feb. 15, Mar. 8 and Apr. 9 (or while supplies last).
