AMERKS BROADCASTER DON STEVENS TO BE FEATURED ON WXXI 1370's "PERSPECTIVES"

Rochester Americans Hall of Fame Broadcaster Don Stevens will be the featured guest on the latest edition of WXXI’s “Perspectives” with host Curt Smith.  The show will air on AM 1370 at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 17 and again at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20.
 
Stevens, now in his 26th season as The Voice of the Amerks, will discuss how he entered the broadcasting business, his favorite memories of working for the Amerks, the team’s reunion with the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres, the AHL’s current 30-team structure, what he loves about the game of hockey and much more.  This week’s episode of “Perspectives” devotes its entire hour to the conversation with Stevens.
 
“Perspectives” with Curt Smith, now in its 10th year, examines all aspects of life that matter to Rochester and Upstate New York, ranging from politics, education and health care to sports, religion and the arts. Each week listeners will hear compelling conversations with interesting and important people.
