The Rochester Americans announced today the team will hold a Coat Drive during each of its next three home games to benefit the Open Door Mission, beginning Sunday, Nov. 6 when the Amerks host the Syracuse Crunch at 6:05 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena.

The Coat Drive will also take place during the Amerks’ home games on Friday, Nov. 11 vs. the Binghamton Senators and Saturday, Nov. 12 vs. the Grand Rapids Griffins.  Both games begin at 7:35 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to donate new or gently used coats by dropping them off in collection bins in front of The Blue Cross Arena Box Office, located in the lower atrium, prior to each of those three games.  The coats will then be donated to the Open Door Mission.  Any fan that donates a coat will be able to purchase a $10 ticket in the best available seating location for that night’s game.
