Ric Seiling

Ric Seiling enters his ninth season as Color Commentator for the Rochester Americans after joining the Amerks broadcast team during the 2005-06 season. 

Seiling partners with play-by-play broadcaster Don Stevens and serves as the analyst for Amerks television and radio broadcasts.  In addition to calling Amerks games, Seiling also serves as the play-by-play broadcaster for the Buffalo Junior Sabres of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (Jr. A).

A native of Elmira, Ontario, Seiling was a first round draft pick (14th overall) of the Buffalo Sabres in the 1977 NHL Draft.  He went on to play 10 seasons in the NHL (1977-1987), including nine with the Sabres.  In 738 career NHL games with the Sabres and Detroit Red Wings, Seiling recorded 387 points (179 goals, 208 assists) and 573 penalty minutes.
