The Rochester Americans received a pair of team achievement awards honoring business excellence at the 2017 AHL Marketing Meeting presented by ExteNet Systems as more than 200 representatives from the league and its member clubs gathered earlier this week at the Arizona Grand Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Ariz.
Team and league front-office personnel from throughout the American Hockey League meet each summer to discuss best practices and innovative ideas in several areas, including ticket sales, corporate sales and digital media.
The Amerks were among the teams honored with a 90 percent season ticket renewal rate for the 2016-17 season, a mark the team has reached in two of the last three years. In addition, Amerks front office member Chad Tubbs was recognized as having the third-most full season ticket sales among all Eastern Conference teams for the past season.
Rochester begins its 62nd season in the American Hockey League on Friday, Oct. 6 at The Blue Cross Arena. Amerks Season Ticket Memberships for the 2017-18 campaign, which start as low as just $12 per game, are on-sale now. The Amerks are also offering a variety of partial plans, including Half-Season Memberships and Flex Season Memberships with vouchers good for best available seating to any home game.
